Learning the background systems, i.e., what’s going on OUT of the pilots sight is important, but what about what is actually on the flight deck?

We teach that, too. You’ll not only know how the background ‘out of sight’ systems work, but also how the pilot interacts and monitors that system from the panoramic view up front.
