You may have noticed that the comments area has changed on all pages of the website. Now you can share a picture of yourself! Pretty awesome.

This is done at Gravatar, which stands for Globally Recognized Avatar.

Basically, you sign up in just a few quick seconds on Gravatar and then your selected image will show on many websites (including ours) whenever you enter your email and name (or if you’re logged in).

Reasons to do this RIGHT NOW:

• It looks awesome.
• Makes comments more personal.
• Everyone will start recognizing each other!
• It’s useful on MANY sites, not just here.
• Real Aviators are doing it. That makes it cool.
• Be an individual, not just another ‘name’.
